In 1938 Mr. Abdel Azeem Al Nahrawy started El Nasr Co. for Fertilizers.
Since then company grew to be one of the biggest suppliers of fertilizers in the Delta region.
25 years later, his elder son and present chairman Dr. Reda Al Nahrawy developed and diversified the same company into BiO- Egypt, a modern group of companies successfully operating in the local and international markets. BiO- Egypt diversified activities are carried out through 2 Main companies :-
- BiO - Tech ( BiO- Tech for Fertilizers & Biocides Co. )
- BiO - Egypt Farms ( Nasr Modern Agriculture Co. )
BiO - Egypt also includes 3 companies for production facilities : -
- Nasr Fertilizers & Biocides Co. ( BiO )
- Nasr Agriculture Co. ( Organic Farms )
- Madina Farms .
Growing Markets
It is worth noting that the local authorities have adopted a stricter attitude to limit the increased usage of chemical insecticides, consequently declaring huge areas as Toshka, New valley, and east of Awaynat, extending over 750.000 Feddan, as areas devoted to clean agriculture.
